This year like 2010, we have been oversubscribed with applications. How we do it, well applications are invited from members of Loughries Historicial Society firstly, then applications are invited from friends, family and children who have previously attended the summer school.
We don't need to advertise, as each year we have a full quota of children.
Loughries is proud to be one of the Ulster Scots Agency 5***** schools - thanks to Derek Rainey, Development Officer at the Agency, for his support and words of encouragement - or sadly it would have folded.
