Whilst visiting one of my elder brothers on Wednesday, he (Clarke) kindly gave me a selection of local books to keep. I was quite surprised that Clarke would be interested in these types of books, but there you go! Clarke told me a work colleague had a few boxes in the boot of the car going to the dump and these few publications were on the top of one of the boxes, destined for the skip – what a save!
A great wee local collection Mark - you'll not be needin my spare copy of Betsy now!
ReplyDeleteAm...........ebay? Yes thanks for your very kind thoughts with the Betsy Gray hardback, but it is very strange how 'things' just turn out! There may be another, who can receive your 'spare copy' of Betsy, someone less fortunate than myself!

Thats a fair haul. I wouldn't mind borrowing your newly acquired copy of 'the smugglers of strangford lough' for a week, when you can spare it. As it's almost impossible to pick up a second hand copy for under £30.
ReplyDeleteMark - never worry aboot freens or money as baith will leave ye yin day - "godliness with contentment is great gain!".
